About
More than a club
Spectra is the official student activity club of the Computer Science & Engineering Department at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research (AITR), Indore. It was created with a simple vision: to give CSE students meaningful involvement beyond the classroom, through technical learning, cultural expression and community service.
From national-level thinking on our own campus to awareness drives in government schools, Spectra turns student energy into real impact.
Where ideas meet opportunities, and every experience becomes a memory.
Our journey
How far we've come
Founded
Spectra begins
Created as the official student activity club of the CSE Department at AITR, with one vision: meaningful involvement beyond the classroom through technical learning, cultural expression and community service.
First events
Meeting the community
Our welcome orientation brought students together to meet the committee, meet the community and see what the year ahead holds.
Flagships
Thirak and Sur Sangram take the stage
Two high-energy cultural showcases became our signatures: a dance competition full of colour and lights, and a singing showcase where voices take the spotlight.
Milestone
Taking Spectra to government schools
The Cyber Crime Awareness Drive carried safe internet practices, scam prevention and digital responsibility beyond our campus.
What we do
Three pillars, one club
- 01
Tech
Workshops, coding sessions, hackathon prep and tech drives. We build practical skills that classrooms don't always teach.
- 02
Culture
Our cultural flagships, Thirak (dance) and Sur Sangram (singing), give the campus a stage and give students a voice.
- 03
Innovation
Competitions, ideathons, awareness campaigns and community projects that turn ideas into action.
